Proclaiming self-awarded titles such as “consultant”, “specialist”, “expert” or “strategist” is something many are adept when describing themselves. They also go to great lengths of guaranteeing success, results, sales, revenue, with proven formulas and industry secrets.
While it may seem very difficult to ascertain qualifications, professional affiliations, and industry expertise of those who claim they can help your business grow, you should be mindful as to not get “baited” to believing everything anyone can say over the internet.
This thought process never occurred to me until recently when a client mentioned “Vijith you are an expert?”. I never claimed to be an expert nor have I mentioned or associated that word (or any word that resemble it) with what I do, so it took me some time to figure this out.
To begin with… if I am an expert or a consultant I probably would be working with large companies, assessing and refining their marketing and branding strategies. I even may be speaking or hosting large events, or better yet have my own digital marketing agency with a dozen employees, at a location other than my home address. While I would certainly welcome in reaching the above milestones, I do however, have done some interesting work with some fantastic clients in video marketing. So I asked myself if I truly am an expert.
One thing I am confident in how much I associate my work with terms such as creativity, innovation, focus, and reliability. I believe these terms are that have enabled me to shed my startup status, and be where I am today (three years since I started The Visual Cube).
The aim of writing this blog (while trying my best not to make it an advertisement or a brochure) is to be brutally honest on what I hope to accomplish while working with clients.
First and foremost I am NOT a consultant or an industry expert. I am a creative visual thinker focused on helping any businesses owner, entrepreneur in Sri Lanka who is struggling to realize the benefits of video marketing. So instead of wondering if I am an expert or not, I thought of writing about what I can do for businesses in Sri Lanka. So I aptly named this blog Video Marketing Sri Lanka 2018 – What Can We Do to Help Businesses.
What Can The Visual Cube Do For Your Business?
Simply put… If you (and your business) want to become a desired part of the Sri Lankan online culture – I can help you. I can make your business/brand/idea be found (on the internet) by your target audience on the most effective medium that will bring the best results – VIDEO
No matter what your idea, product or service, I can help you communicate a simple concept and create lasting impressions with less time, fewer resources, and most importantly… at an affordable price.
VIDEO is the future of ALL communications, and if you have NOT incorporated it as part of your business communications, then you are already at a significant disadvantage.
I am also adept at crafting detailed and effective social media campaigns to complement any video marketing campaign.
What You Can Expect When Working With Me…
First I take the role of a teacher, in educating you with your primary need – single video, video campaign, social media, website makeovers, blogging, etc. If I see that you are still practicing and adhering to traditionalist ideas (that no longer work) it will be one of the first aspects I will bring to your notice.
I will try to understand your subjective expectation of promoting your brand or defining your brand (for startups), while working together in formulating a concept. As a video marketer I try to achieve the benefits and values of (1) voice and (2) culture – to create lasting “socially buzzworthy” impressions through my work for your business/brand.
Next I will put my creative talents to work, while feeding off from your valuable input. I am more than happy to do multiple edits – from script to completion. You can expect to be informed of every detail, edits and changes. Masterpieces are never done in a bubble and never in a mad rush to accomplish everything in so little time.
What is the point of publishing great visual content if no one can find it? I make the content I create found by those who seek it – Your customers and clients are looking for the services and products you offer. Even after the SEO period you can still contact me in realizing your objective realities (revenue goals, business milestones, opinions, etc) – as time permits me best. I take sheer pleasure in sharing success stories, especially when I know I was involved in them.
If you made it this far then I did a good job of convincing you to read this article which is 900 words EXACTLY to this point. While not trying to speculate on what decision you have made, what you need to understand is that VIDEO IS A MUST HAVE for the future success of your business/brand.
See what others who have worked with me have to say about how I helped their businesses.
I’d love to work with you to create tangible and lasting impressions. Give me a call 076-854-3311 or drop me an email @ video-at-thevisualcube-dot-com
