Inspired by the inefficiencies of popular smart mobile devices in responding to emergencies, the smart pulse watch medicsignal was designed and created in 2019. When the inventor/creator reached us to create a series of inspirational videos, we were more inspired by the fact that we were chosen amidst other large agencies to submit a proposal. The project itself was a “reward” on how far The Visual Cube had come along within the five years since it was founded.

The challenge upfront was the fact that we were competing with two other agencies to create an effective, credible video. The first thing we did was to research on other videos done to promote similar devices/technologies. But we came up short as this was a unique product. The target audience of the video was medical care providers, hospitals, insurance agencies (for this particular long version of the video). We then had to curtail this same video in to bite sized 30-45 second chunks. So we relied on the information that the client provided as to what this smart watch accomplish and how it would help the elderly overcome medical emergencies. We selected stock video footage related to the elderly living independently. Then we also included footage of seniors using watches that we showed along with an animation of the smart watch app shown on a smart phone screen. This showed how the app and the watch worked in tandem. It showed how seniors would respond to the regularly set alarm and their families/caregivers monitoring the progress. The developers also had plans of expanding the smart phone to include a whole lot of other non-emergency services. We showed how these devices worked in tandem, which accomplishes the main goal of the video. We also showed emergency situations being avoided, and lots of smiling faces of senior living independently using the device.

If you have a requirement to do a video like this within a US$200 budget, please do contact us and let us know how we can help you. Let us know if you have a concept similar to this that you think you can benefit with a video, we would like to be part of that conversation.
